Our story
Most teams have somehow ended up with a half-dozen database tools: one for Postgres, another for the warehouse, a third for MongoDB, and a Slack channel where someone in operations runs queries because nobody else has the right install. Onboarding a new engineer means a week of dotfiles. Sharing a chart with a PM means a screenshot.
We built DB AI Magic to collapse that workflow into one tab. Connect anything. Run SQL with autocomplete and AI assistance. Edit rows like a spreadsheet. Drop a chart onto a dashboard. Ship a scheduled report. Invite a teammate with read-only access to a single connection. All without leaving the browser, and without a DBA having to provision anything.
We're a small, distributed team. We answer support emails ourselves. We write our own changelog. And we still get a little excited every time we add a new database adapter.
What we believe
One workspace, every engine
We refuse to ship features that only work for one database. If autocomplete works for Postgres, it works for MongoDB. If exports work for MySQL, they work for SQLite.
Default to safe
Credentials are sealed with AES-256-GCM before they hit our database. AI runs read-only by default, with destructive statements blocked at the adapter layer.
